McDonald's Restaurant

McDonald is the place which has one of the world’s most popular hamburger fast food. Its headquarter is located in the United States. It has its restaurants in 119 countries. The McDonald’s corporation was established in 1940. They extended their business and manufacture line from 1948. McDonald’s sells a variety of eatables which attract adult and young both because of their taste. The popular food items at McDonald’s are Cheeseburgers, French fries, desserts and shakes but for altering consumer’s tastes, McDonald have expanded their products by including fruits, salads, smoothies, ice cream and wraps.

            One day I and my younger brother decided to go to McDonald as the weather was very hot and I have heard too much popularity about the restaurant. On that day there was an event going on in which McDonald was telling the history and its facts and figures. I was amazed to hear about the facts of the restaurant.  McDonald is likely to serve 27 million people of the US and 68 million people around the world daily. This makes it one of the biggest restaurants in terms of the consumers. It has 34000 restaurants in which it has 1.7 million employees. It also has other restaurants. It was their daily routine that they organize some kind of event or competition so that people could enjoy.

Then they started telling about their quality I was much ready for it. Quality of McDonald is superior. It is much better than other restaurants and affordable too. They select the chicken that is bigger in size. Their quality remains same all over the world. You can get an entire meal with French fries and a soft drink. Everything you will get from McDonald will satisfy your appetite. They are popular in the world due to their quality standard. You will be satisfied with the quality and they will not let you complain.

            Then before taking their meal, I inquired about their service. I was acknowledged that McDonald operates both types of restaurants that are counter service and drive through service. The counter service includes the indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Drive through has different names in different countries that are Auto-Mac, Play and Drive or Mc Drive. In many countries Mc Drive locations are located near highways where dine in service is not available. McDonald has many branches near pumping stations or connected to convenience stores.

            After all this we decided to have a meal and some dessert too. My younger brother was attracted to their happy meal in which they were offering a toy with the deal. He took the happy meal and I selected to have a Hamburger with Shake and then I decided to take ice cream in the end. I felt relaxed while having a meal as the atmosphere of the restaurant was so comfortable. Their service, the way of greeting, their communication, in short all of their services was very good. As it was a hot day and their electronic appliances were very good so that was also attracting to me. A pleasant and cool atmosphere was created by their team. Everyone in the restaurant was enjoying and feeling happy.

            Not only their atmosphere but their food was also of top class. They offered many deals which prove to be very cheap for us. They give us the homely atmosphere and when they give the top class food it really feels that they are completing their promise. They are committed to their work and all of their employees work with full determination. They do not compromise in their quality. The taste of the chicken is the best. It is suitable for both children and the elders. If someone does not want a spicy burger, he can have the other deal without spices. Thus, in all a variety of food items are available from which you can decide what you want according to your taste.

            I felt that with their single hamburger I was full. I had enjoyed so much and was in the magical world of McDonald. As my brother had finished his meal he got up to play in the children’s play area. The play area was all decorated with colorful balls and different slide paths were made so that kids could enjoy there. All the kids were playing and enjoying themselves.

            As the crowd was increasing continuously to have their lunch at McDonald’s I decided to have the ice cream and leave the place so that someone else could sit there. In the ice cream corner also there was a huge queue to order any desert item. Many people were in a state of confusion to what they should buy and what to not as everything they have tried was marvelous. When I bought my ice cream I was delighted that it was perfectly frozen. After eating the desert I could only comment that I had never eaten such a cool and tasty ice cream before. I left the restaurant very happily as I had a very good experience and it was more than what I had expected it. After eating once, I have decided that I will definitely visit the place again to have such a wonderful lunch or dinner.

Cell Phones are Dangerous

Cell phones are very dangerous. They can harm us in many ways. Our health is also at risk at excessive use of cell phones. Cell phones can harm us in financial matters too. The use of cell phones are increasing every day, this can harm the users in many ways. As we discuss the dangers of cell phone, there are always opposing or different claim people make. Many people say that cell phones are very useful and it helps us in many ways. When observed many people are of the view that mobile has a positive effect in our lives. People claim that cell phones had decreased the distances between the people. One can easily contact to another through calls or messages. The facilities are too much enhanced that through video calling travelling expenses of the multinational companies are also decreased.

But it should be kept in mind that every thing has its own advantages and disadvantages. It should be always considered that as cell phones are useful in one sense, they are also harmful. The dangers of cell phones are very serious. There is a negative impact in our lives. It is a very harmful device. In my opinion also the positive views about the cell phones have no significance. According to me it expands our expenses. It can harm our lives, and I think that health is the most important thing in everyone’s life. It is not an uncommon knowledge now that cell phones omit radiations and they are very dangerous for us. It can cause cancer and other injurious diseases.

 It has been reported that the people who do excessive use of cell phones have more risk of having cancer. 240 % of chance is increased of having malignant tumor on the side of the head where they press the cell phone to their ear. Many people observe report of the symptoms of different diseases; these symptoms include burning of skin, sleep disturbances, loss of mental attention and disturbance of digestive system. Many people who do excessive use of mobiles are found to be sleepier. A recent survey shows that if a person uses a cell phone for 50 minutes, the brain cells of the same side where the mobile antenna is placed; that area mobilize more glucose than of the other side. Moreover, they stated that the results were preliminary and the original or possible outcomes of heat from cell phones are still unknown. (National Cancer Institute)

The common known biological effect of radiofrequency energy is heating. The capability of microwave ovens to cook food is one of the best examples of radiofrequency energy. And the radiofrequency energy from the use of cell phones certainly cause heating and proves to be harmful and injurious to us. It has been observed that with the extensive and continuous use of cell phone the user of the phone experiences heat which can cause many diseases. This had been experimented and every user cannot deny the fact that after the use of mobile a person experiences heat. (George, Martin, 2001)

The sole purpose of this discussion is to enhance the view that the mobile phones should be used as lesser as can be because its destructions are more serious than its usefulness. Everyone should keep in their mind that health is more important thing than any other material.  Shocking and severe results have been observed who uses cell phones as their basic necessity of life. What I am saying is absolutely correct. Mobiles or cell phones are very harmful for us. There are many reasons for this. I have stated some of them. Now it should not be said that the mobiles are very useful, practical and constructive gadget. It will prove to be very dangerous for your lives and for your children’s lives. Almost everyone is now using cell phones and they are putting their lives in risk. It is now government’s job to start an awareness program in the country to spread the knowledge about the dangers of cell phones. Up gradation of technology is looking very pleasant but in reality it is destroying us. The number of rays are also causing effect to Ozone layer and in a result of this our environment is getting more polluted which will prove to be very harmful.

Another destruction of mobiles is the use of internet. The people are disconnecting with each other in their society. The use of internet by children is destroying the youth. Youth are the future builders of any nation but social websites like facebook and twitter have destroyed the youth. They are often seen using them through mobiles. The time which the children should spend in studying are now wasting on cell phones playing games or being just on net. (Steve, 2004)

Mobiles are also one of the causes of one of the major problem of the world. Mobiles are also used as a major weapon for terrorism. Terrorists used mobiles to communicate with each other. Mobile is also used in terrorism; the latest technique used is that a bomb can be exploded by mobile radiations.

The excessive use of mobile phones is also destroying for many people. As many people use mobiles for their gossips, and in a result of that who wants to use it for emergency often faces a busy line. People are now using mobiles as a gadget for their leisure time which is not its sole purpose. If we talk about the health hazards of mobile; it is also a matter of grave concern. The radiations from mobile and their base stations are very injurious. Many phone operators do not follow the safety standards. They are polluting the air through different kinds of radiations; the Bluetooth rays, signals and many more. International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) is one of the most significant.

If still some people won’t agree with me, they can be persuaded with many other ways. The more you study, the more you will be aware about the hazards of mobile. Now many researchers are doing their research about this increasing problem in the world. The users of mobile are increasing day by day. Every day countless people are joining this network. As the world is getting into more technological world, the lives of the people are getting in unusual risks.

It is concluded that the use of mobiles should be completely prohibited for children less than 16 years. It is accomplished that if we will not take this as a serious matter, we will be in great danger. Our next generation will also be in great trouble as its effects are rising every next day. The use of cell phones should be decreased because of its more serious harmful effects.

I have observed almost every class fellow; most of them are in the view that gadgets like cell phone are very handy. But to me it is very destructive and injurious as it has made every one lazy. Now the people are not active like before; because people are using these devices to do their work. I think that cell phones are disconnecting from each other. Many people are getting addictive to mobiles. I personally have a view that we should not consider these devices as a part of our lives. The cell phones should only for used for their original purpose. To make it as a thing for leisure is totally wrong. Different types of rays coming from mobiles are also one of the major causes why I dislike them. I want to have a better environment not a polluted one. I want to convey a message that the common perception among many people is completely false. I want them to understand the risk of cell phones; the risk in their lives, their financial career, the risk in the lives of their children. Many people will not agree with my argument as they are made fool by many telecommunication companies. The people who are linked with communication will promote the use of cell phones as they are directly linked with them. But most of them don’t know the proper way to use it.  There are still a group of people who do not understand the risks.

Global Philosophy

  When we talk about globalization, it means that we are telling our students that everything is connected.Discussing any one international issue is obvious that we also have to describe its related issue.  It is rightly said that when justice is maltreated than you cannot expect anyone to be neutral or unbiased. It is also a truth that curriculum of every country or every nation starts upon their conventions and we cannot blame them for this reason. But over whole curriculum should contain some basic fundamental laws which should be added in every course of each particular grade. It is obvious that religious factors will be different but the criteria should be the same in the whole world so that everyone could get a chance to study anywhere in the world. (Bigelow & Peterson, 2002) The difference in curriculum will inhibit the students to study world wide as they will face many issues to study in the foreign countries. As a result the real talent of students will not be sought as those children who are living in under developed parts of the world will not be able to come up higher.

            I think that education philosophy should be the same all over the world. Our curriculum should be integrated so that the students will enjoy their studies. A philosophy should be made that could be implemented in all the countries than it will bear up good results. Education for all should be the fundamental point and secondary point is that the students should be able to implement their knowledge in their practical life. Information given to them should be constructive and progressive so that students can meet the demands of time. The students should get to know about their existence and their aims to progress in this world. The students must be able to practice the things they have learned in their practical lives to achieve their goals.

            It is not so simple to make the education philosophy that could be implemented in whole world as many factors become obstacle in our way. The religious factors and the issue of national language are worth telling. The students should know the truth on which they can base their knowledge. They should have physical experience of those things which they are studying so that they can gain better understanding. Education does not mean that the children’s are able to write in exams what they are taught but education means that they have the knowledge of those things which they can implement in their lives (Hayes, 2007). It should be a teacher’s responsibility that they teach their students individually and unfold it in the natural way. Students should get education on their own motivation and it should not be made compulsion on them.  They should be encouraged to get education rather than it should be made compulsion on them. (Butts & Cremin, 1953)

            An atmosphere should be made in which every student can share his point of view with others so that collaborative work could be done. Everything that is done in collaboration gives us a better result than that of individuals. For this environment most of the responsibility goes to the teacher. Tutor who is giving them education must give them freedom so that they can have the freedom of speech. The student’s must be able to deliver their own thoughts. (Greeno et al., 1996)

            The new information should come into contact with the existing information so that the student obtained much better education. In this manner everyone is motivated towards education as they can have a better knowledge of things. For this purpose we have to modify our curriculum according to this era. It has been observed that in many countries the curriculum remains same for many years and the students are learning the same old course. The nation who wants to progress should modify their syllabus after every 3 years so that the new generation will be encouraged to get education.

            The teaching standard should also be maintained as teachers play a key role in student’s life. Teachers should get a proper training for teaching in which they could learn how to teach students. This must be necessary for them as without training they could not be capable of giving education in the proper manner. (Department of Education, 2012) Teaching is a very difficult task as one has to give a total concept of a new thing. Most of the teachers do not do their job properly as they think that their job is just to give the lecture. But according to me this standard should be changed and teachers should be responsible to make the students understand their concept.  According to present era modern techniques of teaching should be used like teaching should be done through presentations and through different computer tools which could encourage students to have knowledge about them. (Kasachkoff, 1998).

            The teaching philosophy should be maintained in such a way that the students of all must be able to learn. The students with recognized special needs, the English language learners and the students from a wide range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds i.e. the American Indian students and the students from varying religious backgrounds. Presentations must be included to convey the facts. Issues related to gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status must also be considered.  Racism should not be developed by the teachers, the students belonging to all races and cultures should be equally treated so that the global education could be successful.

These imperative four elements are; needs, means to fulfill need, method to accomplish them and to benefit (BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY). Today a wide range of business opportunities are available in the international market. Many business opportunities available in the international market are; online trading, freelancing online jobs, design and technical consultancy, catering, CPA marketing, solid and hazardous waste treatment, pharmaceutical R&D, clinical trials, advertising managers, biotech manufacturing training, SME banking and trade financing and many other independent businesses.

            Business opportunity must be undertaken as per your interests as well as focusing on the needs of the people. I have selected the business opportunity of combining the traditional Chinese health care with the Western system in china; China is growing and a developing country and needs to improve its health care system. Health care is a vast field and requires skills and qualification to practice it; it has a vast scope in China if all the issues related to minefield of regulation and corruption is resolved. A feasibility study will be undertaken with a business opportunity to refer that how worthwhile will be the idea to pursue it. The study will involve three components; SWOT and Cost/Benefit Analysis. SWOT analysis is adopted which reveals that many strengths and opportunities are present in the healthcare market. Environmental situation and the emergence of new diseases have made the people health conscious. People are now seeking technology and nature to verify their conduct; in our healthcare clinic both the aspects are greatly present. The strengths involve the natural herbal treatment of the patients with the scientifically proven techniques. The herb-drug interaction produces a significant integrated medicine that will give relief to the patients (Tsang, Huang and koehler). Many opportunities are available in the education as well as the pharmaceutical industry for this business. Very few weaknesses are found which can be ignored because of the presence of valuable strengths and opportunities. Very few doctors and medical staff are reluctant in practicing the combined medicinal field. In Cost/Benefit Analysis also it is revealed that the benefits for the people as well as for the business exceed its cost which promises it to be a successful business opportunity.

            Specialist services and consultation are very important components in running a successful business venture. Many experts are available online as well as in person to assist in the business. Specialist services are required in every business thus healthcare system also needs consultation. Quality training improvement will be implemented by healthcare professionals. Trained and coached personnel are the primary services that are required for the integrated health care clinic (quality Training Improvement for Health care professionals). The staff must be qualified and experienced; other non-healthcare areas in the clinic also need proper consultation and advice for its finance and business plan. Proper nursing practice and equipment would be accessed through different platforms. My Food Habits

Our food habits are developed by the culture that surrounds us, especially our own family's culture. Mostly it comes down to what resources are available to us in our area and what our family is used. As I’m a university student and I’ve to spend my whole day at university so I usually take a heavy breakfast in the morning. Usually I take ‘Paratha’ with ‘Omlate’ and sometimes traditional ‘Naan chanay’ with a cup of tea. Sometimes in the University, when I get free time I go to the cafeteria at my university and take a meal from there. I would like to eat Biryani, Qorma, Nihari and such other traditional dishes. I also like some foreign dishes like Chinese, European etc. In the evening when I come back from my university,I usually eat something what my mum prepared. For example potatoes, noodles, soup, etc. Later I eat a light dinner i.e ‘Roti Salan’ or ‘Rice’. On weekends, we often go outside for dinner. Usually we go to ‘Fazal-e-Haq ka Dera’ which is my favourite food place to visit, ‘Bandu Khan’ or ‘Anarkali food Street’. Sometimes we also go to KFC, Hardee’s or some Pizza shop. Usually  I  follow  food  laws  but  not  always.
