The illegal trade of drugs are known
as drug trafficking. These drugs are prohibited by the state or any country. Under
this trade the drugs are manufactured and sold in the black market. The sale of
these drugs is due to corruption in the county’s system. This trade is
increasing day by day. Many people are involving in this business just for the
money. They don’t care whether it is legal or not. They just want money. Many
departments are working to control this trade.
Drugs can spoil the life of the
person. Drugs are strictly prohibited in every part of the world. But due to
some factors, it is smuggled in almost every where easily. The companies which
are doing this trade are becoming more powerful day by day. They are fully
provided with funds by some secret agents. These companies strive to win from
the other organizations undergoing this trade. Every company has its own
territory to supply the drugs. Police corruption is also increasing from this
trade. As the police standing on the borders of the country often accept bribe
from the drug traffickers. Although United States is doing its best efforts to
stop this trade but still it’s the largest consumer for the prohibited drugs. (Jill
Sherman, 2010)
Drug trafficking is an illegal act. It
is a major problem. The people who are involved in this trade are often forced
to do this. Many unemployed persons do this. Minors are more connecting with
this trade. They are less educated and they do not know the dangers of this
trade. There are uncountable risks in this business. Many people who are doing
this trade are addicted to drugs day by day. Many health problems also arise
due to drugs. Drugs abuse is also increasing. Drugs are sold in black market under the
qualities they does not obtain. They are used by every age person from a high
school student to an elderly man. Several diseases arise due to extensive and
insignificant use of these drugs. Many lives have been lost due to prohibited
drugs. But due to some people drug trading is successful. Many families as drug
users protest against the prohibition of drug trade. Consumption of illegal
drugs is increased in United States by a very large quantity. Officials are
also being involved in importing these drugs illegally into the country.
(Michael d. layman, Gary W. Potter, 2011)
Mental
as well as the physical health of a person is seriously damaged by these drugs.
In only America the problem of drug trafficking is increasing at a very high
rate. This also causes crime of several billion dollars. Illicit drugs are
mainly cocaine, heroin and marijuana which cause serious health problems. To
control drug trafficking is very difficult, but to stop it everyone should make
a start. (Manuel Gonzales, Kevin McEnery,
Thomas Sheehan, Susan Mellody, 1986)
The
authorities should now have a grave attention related to block drug trafficking
as it is breaking up families, ruining lives of many people and is causing instability
in the world. Many other crimes also come with the drug smuggling. Illegal
trade of drug is threatening lives and increasing the lawlessness in any
country.
